Незнаю что сказать, если новичёк то да красиво...
Но моё имхо скорее, ну не очень... Рёшетки так хорошо видно, а они просто затекстурены^^
И хром ужасный... А вот эти последние, только красная красивая мне кажеться, но так выглядет как будто скачал с сайта бесплатных моделей.

Пссс, Русские мы самые лучшие моделеры wink Я вас - Нас ))) Обажаю booze

More shortly a lattice make 3D, a bumper make real, instead of thought up. And chrome please change... And here on the account of last cars, it it is loaded from a site of free-of-charge models?

If I understand correctly: the last cars:
Chezoom (blue) I modeled myself. Chevy Belair (red) was from GTA.
The bodykits: for 2.3.1 patch only imaginairy kits: they must not look too mutch like real life kits...

On the account of lattices in images it not so. Personally my opinion... And so all equally good fellow, try still. To except for the third image any more what bumper has not liked.
And wheels let cost inside of the machine, instead of as on a jeep outside!)))

Draeghonov, use alpha channel in grid?bodykits are pactically perfect)i lke them

nice one.. but too big holes in f_bumper grids ..
also use alpha channel on its
and dont forget about specular highlights (red points)

NIX, that picture you show is PERFECT!!!
I have to admit that I forgot specular level!

I have used alpha channel, but grille is not transparant, just like Super Duty grille.
I also need to practice more with texturizing!

When I have more, I will show!

Yo everyone!

I have done my 1st/2nd kit for SD!
The 2st kit will be "BAJA"-style, but as far as now, I only have the rollcage; the rear bodywork doesn't seem to look good enough on the SD:(
I will get back to it later this week, but for now, I'm going to perfect the "lowrider" kit for SD.
The skirts are horrible, I know, I have to totally redo them!
The front bumper is 75% done, the rear bumper 50%.
The big problem I have atm, is decability...
Here are the pics (all without decals;))

the shown bumper textures are NOT definitive; Raxat will change textures for 2.3.1 patch!

btw: NIX, thank you for showing specular level!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can do that, but the Focer kits are for 2.3.1.
Raxat is going to change textures, so these textures are only for "show" only;)
Please wait for Raxat to show development photos: then you will see Focer bodykit as they will appear in 2.3.1:)

small update:
I have sent Raxat the SD bodykit + rollcage.
So: Focer, SD and speaker projects are done smile
SO: time for a new project!

ahahaha, small update:



I know: this is just like 1/4 of the total rear cover... The side has to be modeled and attached to the "bumper" I now have, and then there's the issue called lights that have to get done.
I'm kinda sick atm, so I don't have the energy to sit behind my pc all the time, so I guess the next update won't be here untill after the weekend.

But Ivan: I use this method:
I create mesh lowpoly, and when I get the basic shape, then i select all polys with CTRL+A, and then press CTRL+M.
I always thought that that method was doubeling the polys, in stead of using meshsmooth.
I have used meshshmooth to look at my model in renders, to see if I was getting the shape right, but when I do that, the poly-count goes through the roof!! I get three times the amount of polys with smooth.
That's why I use that CTRL+M thingy wink
Since I'm not experienced with 3dsmax, I'm not quite sure though if my method is the same as meshsmooth...

BTW: I have just started on rear lights:)
I'm not feeling that good, but modeling stuff helps to feel better!!!!
Anyways: this is a screenshot WITHOUT meshsmooth:

And this is WITH meshsmooth:

As you can see, meshsmooth doesn't work well for me...

я не силён в англитском поетому кто нибуть переведите чтобы не происходило затягивания дырки при мешьсмуше надо чтобы полигоны радом имели 4 вершины не больше делаеться ето путём достройки дополнительных эйджей примерно так

Dave just apply simple smoothing around the taillights, you're just getting edges going inside.

I have restarted on the rear "bumper" area:

I have used cilinders for the taillight housings, with 18 segments, a lot, but it gave the best looking results.
Then I've cut the area around the cilinders in the bumper, used cut tool to get straight lines and squares, targerwelded loose polys and removed diagonal lines.
It resembles the original car close enough, so I'm happy with that.
And: I haven't smoothed the area around the lighthousings:), I just moved the polys piece by piece until the render showed a smooth enough surface;)

Yes, I would say that you're right about the interior, but: the outer body is far from finished.
I have seen your work, and it's unbelievable how fast you are! I'm willing to do the interior, but the dash is the only interior this car has biggrin
You see: the car's basically a chassis with some fiberglass parts on it. I have some pictures of the chassis, and its a relative simple thing, BUT: I think that I have to finish the body panels first, and then start on the interior smile

Hey guys!

My uncle John from Scotland is over at my parents place, and he came by today, to get introduced to 3dsmax.
He's a real pro with Photoshop, but has no experience in max, so he asked if I could get him started, and so I did.
To make it short, after showing him the things I'm doing for 2.3.1, he asked what and how about the game;)
WOOOOOOOOOOT!!!! Now he's hooked on SLRR:D
He was playing with my spider, eventhough it's faaaaaar from finished, but he has really put it to the test!!!!
He even got the thing to do wheelies:D:D:D:D:D:D

OK: time to show some testing pics!
